From console port to test report

ConsoleQC connects over serial, executes your test profile step by step, and logs every result — no manual intervention required.

01 —

Connect

Plug in via USB-to-serial. ConsoleQC auto-detects the device, negotiates baud rate, and verifies the connection before any tests run.

02 —

Configure

Load a YAML test profile for your device family. Each profile defines the steps, expected outputs, pass/fail thresholds, and timeout behavior.

Test & report

ConsoleQC runs each step, captures device responses, evaluates results, and exports a timestamped pass/fail log ready for your MES or ERP.

Built for production floors

Designed around the reality of high-volume hardware QC — parallel runs, varying device families, and tight cycle time requirements.

Profile-based test steps

Define any number of test steps per device profile. Different product lines, different requirements — each gets its own config without touching the core tool.

Multi-device parallel testing

Run concurrent test sessions across multiple COM ports. Scale throughput without adding headcount — one operator, multiple DUTs.

Structured result logging

Every test run produces a timestamped, structured log. Export to CSV, JSON, or pipe directly into your MES for traceability and defect tracking.

Cisco & multi-vendor support

Initial support targets Cisco IOS/IOS-XE devices. Additional vendor CLI parsers are in active development — contact us about your device families.

Operator-friendly GUI

No CLI required for technicians. A clean desktop interface shows live test progress, pass/fail status, and surfaces errors without exposing raw console output.

On-premise deployment

Runs fully on your hardware. No cloud dependency, no data leaving the floor. Works air-gapped on Windows production workstations.
